The Ligier JS P2 is an LMP2 (Le Mans Prototype 2) designed by French manufacturer Onroak Automotive in 2014. Developed as a successor to the Morgan LMP2s that were opened, it embodies a major advance in terms of aerodynamics, performance and safety. Its name is a tribute to Guy Ligier, the brand's founder, and marks Ligier's return to endurance racing after several decades' absence.
Design and technical specifications
The Ligier JS P2 marks a major evolution in the category, as it is a coupé built around a carbon-fibre monocoque chassis . In terms of powertrains, the Ligier JSP2 had an open architecture, allowing it to be powered by several engines: the Nissan VK45DE V8, the Honda HPD V6 and the Judd HK V8. With a minimum regulatory weight of 900kg, the JS P2 features double wishbone suspension, an XTRAC sequential gearbox with steering-wheel-mounted paddles, and carbon brakes.
Exceptional results at the highest level of competition:
Since its launch, the Ligier JS P2 has established itself as one of the benchmarks in LMP2. Over the course of its career, the Ligier JS P2 has accumulated 33 pole positions, 31 fastest race laps, 56 podiums, 19 victories and five titles.

Chassis 04 offered for sale
Entered in the finest Endurance races. Several top 5 finishes in European Le Mans Series
Chassis 04 is part of the Ascott Collection and has enjoyed a successful career in the United States, Europe and Asia. In its green livery, it was driven by Tracy Krohn, owner of the Krohn Racing team, who regularly partnered with Nicolas Jönsson and Olivier Pla, as well as occasionally with Alex Brundle, João Barbosa and Julien Canal, to name but a few.
The car first competed in the 2015 24 Hours of Daytona, after which it took pole position and finished eighth overall in the 12 Hours of Sebring.
It was then entered into the European Le Mans Series, in which it regularly finished in the top 5 in both 2015 and 2016, as well as competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in those same years, finishing 32nd and 22nd overall respectively.
Asian Le Mans Series success: Third in the Championship in the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons
After being acquired by ARC Bratislava, the car's livery was changed to yellow with multicoloured stripes, and it was entered into the Asian Le Mans Series, where it finished third in the championship for two consecutive years.
Acquired by Ascott Collection at the end of 2024, this Ligier JS P2 is available for sale with a nice stock of parts. It is now eligible for a large number of races around the world, including Masters Endurance Legends in Europe and the Middle East, HSR in the United States, and Legends of Le Mans and Le Mans Classic (to be confirmed) by Peter Auto.
